Small for the end of the week

Hello Friends,

Back to just barely surfable this morning. Swell at sea is 1.6 metres  from the east at 8 seconds, so you’ll be doing well to find anything much above waist high. Still, it’s a nice morning out there and waiting around for a little groveller isn’t the worst thing you could do with your time. And, the Bureau says the swell should come up steadily through the day. So what looks ho-hum now, might be another story later.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the Goat has to say about our prospects for the coming week but my quick take this morning is that we’re in for a run of solid swell with SW wind…

Have a great Friday!

Weather Situation

A moderate to fresh south to southwesterly change will move north along the coast during Friday into early Saturday in association with a cold front slipping away to the south of the region. These south to southwesterly winds will strengthen, mainly in the south, during the weekend and into Monday, as a low pressure system moves south over the western Tasman Sea whilst deepening on its journey.
