Wireless festival chaos as FOUR acts drop out hours before it kicks off – and bosses cut final day short the Euros

WIRELESS festival has been thrown into chaos hours before gates open.

Four acts have pulled out of the urban music festival at London’s Finsbury Park, and bosses have angered fans by ending the event early to avoid a clash with the Euros final on Sunday.

Wireless’s official social media account posted: “Flo Milli and Veeze will no longer be performing tomorrow. Tyla and Digga D will no longer be performing on Sunday.”

It went on to promise that replacement acts would be announced.

In a further shake-up, it said: “Rockstar Energy presents Wireless will now finish at 7pm on Sunday, July 14th, to give you plenty of time to travel home to watch the Euro final England Vs Spain match.

“The festival is going ahead as planned on Sunday and Doja Cat will perform a full headline set.”

Fans aren’t impressed with the altered event, with one commenting: “Why not just play it on the big screens there.? That would’ve been a viiiiibe. Just ruuuuuining it.”

Another said: “I’m sorry but ending a festival at 7pm is ludicrous.”

A third complained: “So will i get my money back since ive paid for a full day on sunday as opposed to 2 of the better acts being taken away so i can watch football for a team i dont support?”

Another said: “Are you serious? We paid so much for a 7pm curfew and 2 cancelled artists? I can’t believe this.”

And some attendees were further riled when the event declared itself vape-free.

Digga’s absence was enforced due to legal issues.

His management told fans: “Digga has asked us to share a message with fans.

‘Guys I’m sorry but they’ve still got me up in here so I’m not going to make Wireless this weekend. I’m as gutted as you lot but god willing I’ll be out real soon, thank you everyone for your support and prayers.'”

The UK drill artist – real name Rhys Herbert – is currently in custody after pleading guilty to two drugs charges back in May.

One of which related to smuggling cannabis last July and the other was for supplying between October 26, 2022 and February 21, 2024.

The three-day event is headlined by Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage and Doja Cat.

A three day weekend ticket costs £258.25, while a day ticket for Friday and Sunday is £94.60, and £148 on Saturday.

Rapper 21 Savage will take the stage tomorrow, with Doja Cat leading the performances on Sunday.

Speaking about the event, London-born multi-platinum selling artist Savage – real name Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph – said: “I’m so happy to be returning home to the UK and headlining Wireless for the very first time.”

Other artists due to perform this weekend includes Ice Spice, Asake, Sean Paul, J Hus and Future
