Maharashtra takes the sting out of energy drink demand, bans sale of high caffeine variants near schools

Maharashtra FDA Minister Dharmarao Baba Atram announced a forthcoming ban on the sale of energy drinks with high caffeine content within 500 meters of schools. This decision, prompted by a question from legislator Satyajeet Tambe, aims to protect students from excessive caffeine intake. A list of banned drinks will be circulated for effective implementation.
