Skies will be partly sunny, with an uptick in humidity, as temperatures edge into the upper 80s.

A slow-moving upper-level disturbance will trigger scattered showers and storms later in the day, mostly limited to areas northwest of I-71 through this evening, before diminishing.

Southerly winds will bring heat and humidity through the weekend and early next week. Another upper-level wave will favor scattered mainly afternoon storms on Sunday. Temperatures will push into the low 90s over the weekend.

Hot and humid weather continues Monday and Tuesday, with an isolated storm, and readings in the low to mid-90s. A cold front will arrive late Tuesday and create a greater chance for some storms, with rain and thunder lingering into part of Wednesday.

Cooler and less humid conditions are expected the second half of the week, with highs in the low 80s.
