Known for purse-friendly bargains, Primark has long been a favourite – and the brand’s now got even cheaper, as recently discovered by one customer, Georgiana Parloaga.

According to the lucky shopper, the high street giant has slashed the prices of adorable toys for kids for just £1 – and they’re sure to keep your little one entertained during the school holidays.

Informing fellow bargain hunters, the mum said: ”Primark has these cute Lego sets on sale, only £1.”

Georgiana, who’d stumbled across the cut-price goodies in the Stirling branch in Scotland, also posted a few snaps of what she’d managed to her hands on.

As well as bagging a sweet Lego set of a pink bow, the Primark super fan purchased another set honouring the viral Taiwanese cold drink, bubble tea.

Last – but certainly not least – was an ocean-themed toy, a bright orange Lego set that’s the perfect pick for all the Finding Nemo enthusiasts.

If you need more convincing to head to the discount retailer, fellow shoppers have revealed that they, too, have made the most out of the rare sale.

One mum, Charley Mahon, went crazy in the kids’ clothing section, finding cheap nightwear and other garments.

Sharing her top finds, she wrote: ”I got my daughter a Marie pjs from £10 to £2 and sliders to from £7 to £2 and My little girl tops from like £5 to £2, never got pics wouldn’t let me, primark had loads offers today.”

More than 100 fellow members of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook raced to comments to tag their friends and family to let then know about the offers.

”These would be good for lego therapy,” thought one Facebook user.

”Omg how cute the boba,” another couldn’t get over the bubble tea-themed set.

A third penned: ”We got these as Stocking fillers at Christmas and then a couple more recently.

”They are great and simple to follow instructions. We have the fish, bow, flamingo and Rabbit.”

”Awwwww we need,” a fourth was determined to bag the goodies.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
