LOVE Island bosses have come under fire after fans claim new bombshell Lolly Hart was told who to pick for her Hideaway date.
Upon entering the villa last night (July 11), Lolly sparked tension by selecting Joey Essex, Ciaran Davies, and Konnor Ewudzi for dates.
Her decision raised eyebrows, especially considering Ciaran’s closed-off relationship with Nicole Samuel.
Fans now speculate that producers planned Lolly’s dates to stir up drama, especially after picking Ciaran who has a nine-year age gap.
This sparked a big reaction on social media, with many fans saying Lolly didn’t have much say in who she went on a date with.
One viewer said: “The producers told her to pick Ciaran to add some drama I’m convinced lol.”
A second added: “The producers clearly told Lolly to choose Ciaran, she wants a ‘husband’ and she definitely does not want someone who has just entered adulthood.”
A third commented: “Feel like the producers told Lolly to pick Ciarian to cause tension. Feel bad for her.”
Ahead of entering the Love Island villa, Lolly explained how excited she was to get to know Konnor and Joey as they are a “similar age”.
She said in her VT: “Joey is a similar age to me and has a good sense of humour so I think we will get on well.
“I worry that we are the same height but I need to stop being so picky. Konnor is also great.”
With so many strong bonds in the villa, it will be interesting to see how Lolly can influence the boys at this late stage in the competition.
But it seems like she is determined to make her mark.
“I feel like Love Island is my last resort at this point, it’s something I’ve thought about for a while as I’ve just turned 30 and been single a long time, so it’s time to find a husband,” she told ITV in a pre-villa interview.
” I don’t want a boyfriend, I want to move on with my life and settle down with the right guy.”
