Tottenham Hotspur are currently ahead of Newcastle United in the race for Pedro Neto, according to a report by GiveMeSport.

The report claims that even though Newcastle have now entered the race to sign Neto, Spurs continue to have the upper hand in the race for the Wolves winger.

The 24-year-old is also reported to be attracted by the prospect of living in London, with the player thought to prefer a move to the capital over one to the North East.

As a result, Spurs are claimed to have a ‘slight edge’ over Eddie Howe’s side and are ‘optimistic’ that they can win the race for Neto.
