COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Cohoes Firefighters say their Central Station has been vandalized twice within the past eight days. Early on July 3, a suspect threw a brick through one of their front windows, and then again on Thursday, someone smashed the windshield of their tower truck with a rock inside their station.

"We leave our door open to the community, kids like to come through and see the fire trucks," said Cohoes Fire Union President Brian Bullock, "and it's gotten to the point that we can't do that anymore."

The truck will be out of commission until the windshield is replaced. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact the Cohoes Police Department at (518) 237-5333.
