According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Cutter admitted that on June 27, 2023, he exchanged sexually explicit texts with someone he believed was an adult offering services of a 12-year-old girl, in an attempt to entice the child to engage in sexual acts with him. He also admitted he traveled to a pre-determined location in Warren County to engage in sexual acts with the 12-year-old.

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Lake George man faces 10 years to life in prison after admitting that he attempted to entice a minor online. Robert Cutter, 44, pleaded guilty on Thursday.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Cutter admitted that on June 27, 2023, he exchanged sexually explicit texts with someone he believed was an adult offering services of a 12-year-old girl, in an attempt to entice the child to engage in sexual acts with him. He also admitted he traveled to a pre-determined location in Warren County to engage in sexual acts with the 12-year-old.

Cutter was arrested shortly after arriving at the location. He will be sentenced on November 11. He also faces a term of post-release supervision of at least five years to life and the court may impose a fine of $250,000 in restitution.
