Spain star Dani Carvajal telling team-mate Rodri to DITCH Man City and join him at Real Madrid ahead of Euro 2024 final
DANI CARVAJAL has told Rodri to ditch rainy Manchester and return home to sunny Madrid.
The Manchester City and Spain midfielder has excelled at Euro 2024 ahead of Sunday’s final with England.

Now team-mate Carvajal wants to see those performances for Real Madrid.
Rodri was born in the Spanish capital but supported and played for rivals Atletico Madrid.
Asked if he had told Rodri to make the move, Carvajal said: “Yes, without a doubt. I tell him that every day.
“I tell him that there is no sun in Manchester, that he is from Madrid and that we need him in the team.
“But he gives me the runaround, telling me that he has a contract and that there are no clauses.
“It would be a great signing without a doubt, he would fit in perfectly.”
Manchester City would be in no mood to entertain interest in their holding midfielder.
Rodri has become one of Pep Guardiola‘s most important players at The Etihad.

And, until the FA Cup final defeat to Manchester United, City had not lost a game when Rodri played since losing to Tottenham in February 2023.
The champions lost all three games Rodri missed during a three-match ban following a red card against Nottingham Forest last season.
It also appears the player himself is not itching for a move.
Rodri was quoted by AS as saying: “I’m very, very happy in England.
“I’m at one of the best clubs in the world, it’s obvious, and I’m happy. I have a three-year deal and, when the time comes, I will see.”
Rodri will face Man City teammates John Stones, Kyle Walker and Phil Foden when England take on Spain in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.
The quartet of stars will put their friendships aside to try and lift the trophy in Berlin.
