Shawn Johnson’s Baby Bear Is the Sweetest Little Giant in New Family Photos
Go ahead and prepare yourselves for some epic levels of cuteness. Shawn Johnson just shared new family photos from her vacation with husband Andrew East and their kids, and each one is (somehow!) more heart-melting than the last. In the collection of stunning photos taken on a beach in Charleston, it’s clear that 4-year-old Drew is the best big sister, 2-year-old Jett has a silly side, and 6-month-old Bear is getting so big!
In one shot, Drew picks up her baby brother, and they’re practically the same height! Their heads are aligned, and his toes reach all the way down to her knees. *Jaw drop*
In another picture, Johnson proudly holds her youngest, who looks straight at the camera with the biggest smile on his face. He is seriously the cutest little giant we’ve ever seen. (And we use that term so endearingly!)
“How is Bear that big already ?????? Beautiful family,” one follower said, and if we could retweet an Instagram comment, we would!
There’s also an awesome shot of East throwing Jett way up in the air, one of Drew snuggling up to her mama, and the sweetest photo of the family of five standing with the ocean in the background. It has serious holiday card potential!
“Drew looks like her Daddy, Jett look like his Mommy & Bear looks like both of you!” another fan said, and we have to agree.
Bear isn’t just growing in size. He’s also hitting major developmental milestones really fast. Last month, at just five months old, he started crawling and sitting up on the floor with no help or support from anyone. On the same day! The video Johnson posted is seriously impressive. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), babies often start crawling between 8-12 months and sitting up on their own between 4-7 months.
We have to imagine his skills come from the athletic genes that must be running through this not-so-little boy’s body. After all, his mom is an Olympic gold medalist and his dad is a retired NFL player.
“The kid has inherited all that strong muscle tone and gross motor skills from his amazing athletic parents ????????????????????,” one person wrote. “OMG … he’ll be lifting weights in the garage gym next with Daddy ???????????????????????? tuning in next week for updates ????????????????,” another joked. And ditto! We wouldn’t be surprised if we see the cutie walking this summer.
