TOWIE star Amber Turner stepped out in a statement t-shirt proclaiming Jaffa Cakes are in fact cakes – sparking a war of words with another reality show favourite.
The 30-year-old waded into the age-old debate, firmly on the side of Team Cake.
But what might seem like an out of the blue statement comes only days after her friend Georgia Steel, was spotted wearing a similar slogan tee claiming the treat to be biscuits.
Love Island star Georgia left the ITV studios on Tuesday wearing a white t-shirt emblazoned with the message “Jaffa Cakes are biscuits”, while Amber appeared to respond with “Jaffa Cakes are cakes babes”.
Amber was spotted making the bold claim on Thursday afternoon in Loughton, Essex, sparking another debate about why she isn’t with the rest of the TOWIE cast in Cyprus.
The likes of Sophie Kasaei, Jordan Brooks and Jodie Wells joined Amber’s ex Dan Edgar and Ella-Rae Wise who have recently reignited their romance on the Mediterranean island.
Filming for series 34 has commenced, with Amy Childs and partner Billy Delbosq also spotted soaking up the rays with their young twins.
Amber’s absence fuels rumours that she won’t be returning to the next series of the reality show.
Her return to the UK, after fleeing to Dubai last year, raised the question about why she has returned – to settle the famous Jaffa Cake debate?
Something else which may have drawn her back could be the custody battle she’s involved in with Dan Edgar over their pet pooch, Oliver.
Despite getting full custody of the Goldendoodle following their split in 2023, Amber handed over the pup to Dan while she spent time in Dubai.
