EastEnders fans predict shock killer twist for unlikely Walford resident – and ‘work out’ his first victim
EASTENDERS fans have predicted that Walford might have another killer on the loose.
Loyal viewers of the long-running BBC serial drama believe that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) could be at risk.
Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) has been in utter turmoil behind the back of his partner Sonia (Natalie Cassidy).
He made his debut on the soap in 2022 as the great-nephew of Dot Branning (June Brown – who passed away in April 2022) .
After embarking on a romance with Sonia, the pair then sought out to have a baby together.
Unfortunately, their journey is not as smooth sailing as they hoped, due to Reiss’ infertility.
Last year, EastEnders enthusiasts learned that his spouse was receiving long-term hospital care and was in a coma.
Despite this, they started the process of IVF as Sonia underwent treatment to get pregnant.
However, she was left unaware that it was funded by stolen cash from Debbie’s account.
They initially celebrated when they thought that she might have been pregnant, but it turned out she was not expecting a child.
Although they wanted to move full steam ahead with the treatment, Reiss ran into financial troubles.
He was given a bill of £18,000 that he needed to pay for the ongoing medical expenses for his comatose wife.
However, the accountant was then given a lifeline by Sharon Watts when she asked him to look after her accounts.
Resorting to desperate measures, he embezzled money into his own personal account.
In an unexpected move, Sharon then decided to give him a bonus, which only increased his intense feelings of guilt.
However, soap fans think he may choose to go down an even darker path as the medical expenses continue to grow.

Some even reckon he could resort to desperate measures to get out of trouble and become the soap’s next serial killer.
Viewers took to social media in their droves as they started to speculate on what his next move could be.
One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Reckon Reiss is going to murder Debbie to save on care home fees and get all her money.”
“Weird creepy repulsive Reiss is a liar and a thief yet dim desperate Sonia believes everything he says. How long till he kills someone?”, commented a second.

As a third suggested: “I feel like Reiss can kill. There’s a serial killer somewhere deep inside of him itching to be let out.”
But some think that one of the original characters on the long-running London based soap could be in the firing line.
They warned that Sharon could end up becoming a victim of his potentially evil actions.
Sending out a warning, one user worried: “So Reiss just now committed fraud/theft by taking money from the bank accounts of the people who owed Sharon. This isn’t going to work out at all.”
As someone else suggested: “You know something if they do a reveal that Reiss is pushed to breaking point and kills Sharon.”
