Earlier today Top Rank Boxing announced that the scheduled July 13th clash between unified IBF and WBO Middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10) [Жанибек Алимханулы] and unbeaten challenger Andrei Mikhailovich (21-0, 13), has had to be cancelled at the 11th hour, due to Alimkhanuly being forced out of the bout after suffering from dehydration.
The bout, which had been planned as Alimkhanuly's first defense of the unified titles, was set to be his first bout since stopping Vincenzo Gualtieri in 6 rounds back in October. It was supposed to push him forward, and continue his rise, though given the issue of dehydration it may actually signal that his body can no longer safely make weight at 160lbs, something that will be getting harder at the age of 31.

Top Rank have announced that the scheduled bout between unbeaten contender Raymond Muratalla (20-, 16) and former world champion Tevin Farmer (33-5-1-1, 8) will be the headline bout, and that fans wanting a refund will be able to claim one, if they contact the company they bought the tickets from.
