Nikola Jovic to miss Olympics due to fracture in ankle joint?
Nikola Jovic appeared at the start of the Serbian national team preparations for 2024 Paris Olympics with an orthopedic boot on his leg, but he wasn’t immediately excluded from Svetislav Pešić’s squad, with the hope that he can recover in time. However, Meridian Sport reports that the Miami Heat forward and 2023 FIBA World Cup silver medalist is likely to miss the Olympics due to an apparent fracture of the ankle joint. Jović did not travel with the Serbian team for the preparatory game against France, along with Dejan Davidovac.

Nikola Jovic appeared with a protective boot on his left leg upon arrival in Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport, according to Meridian sport. Even though at first, his condition didn’t look encouraging, the Serbian NT medical staff believes that Jovic’s injury isn’t serious.
