I did a huge Oliver Bonas sale haul for my ‘Balamory’ home – I only went in for scented oil & came out with three bags

A HOMEOWNER has added to her quirky ‘Balamory’ home after doing a huge sale haul at Oliver Bonas.

Megan Welsh bought her first flat in Glasgow last year and has spent months transforming it into a colourful haven.

The 25-year-old said her interiors vibe is all about “fun and colour”.

“There’s not really a colour scheme, it’s kind of multicoloured as you would imagine”, she added.

Her flat has even been compared to Balamory thanks to its bold decor.

And she’s added even more splashes of colour after spotting a sale on homeware items in her local Oliver Bonas.

YouTuber and podcast host Megan, who you may recognise from BBC Scotland show The Agency: Unfiltered, said: “I did genuinely intend on going in for one singular diffuser oil.

“But there was a sale on and a lot caught my eye.

“And in fairness, I have been telling myself that I need all of these things.

“I got three bags full.”

In a short video, Megan revealed she’d picked up a bright orange throw, reduced from £52.50 to £39.

“That’s actually not that big of a saving”, she admitted.

“But look how nice this is.”

Megan also bagged four new colourful cushions for her orange couch – on sale for £16.50 instead of £28 – as she said “love the colours, love the vibes”.

She added: “I also picked up a four-pack of oils. My flat’s going to smell like a dream for ages now.

“Then I got one of these wine stoppers. I’m a wine girl now.”

Social media users have compared her home to Balamory[/caption]

CBeebies hit Balamory was a huge hit during its four season run from 2002 to 2005.

Parents across the country will fondly remember the programme for its iconic song: “What’s the story in Balamory, wouldn’t you like to know?”

The show followed life in a small Scottish town and its various characters including Chewin’ the Fat star Julie Wilson Nimmo as school teacher Miss Hoolie.

Filmed on Tobermory, it has remained a great source of nostalgia for those who grew up with the programme.
