The bass player and founding member of legendary "nu metal" band Limp Bizkit is demanding that President Joe Biden "sacrifice personal ambition for the sake of American democracy" by stepping down as Democratic nominee.

"You can't win, Joe. It's time to go," Sam Rivers wrote in a Facebook post on Friday. "If Democrats want to keep rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin' in November, they're going to need somebody young and fresh. Word?"

The Limp Bizkit bassist joins a modest chorus of mid-tier celebrities—Hollywood producer Rob Reiner, REM frontman Michael Stipe, and Nespresso spokesman George Clooney—who have urged Biden to step aside because they don't think he can beat Donald Trump. Biden's disastrous debate performance last month prompted a number of Democrats to suddenly realize that the 81-year-old is too old and cognitively impaired to serve as president for another four years.

"We are not going to win in November with this president," Clooney wrote in the New York Times. "On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor who I’ve spoken with in private."

As of Friday, 20 Democrats out of more than 260 serving in Congress have publicly called on the president to drop out. Meanwhile, senior party leaders continue to speak in vague gibberish when asked to voice their opinion. Former president Barack Obama and former House speaker Nancy Pelosi have reportedly discussed the issue, but have no idea what to do.

Formed in Jacksonville, Fla., in the mid-1990s, Limp Bizkit recorded some of the iconic songs in the history of American music, such as "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle), "Nookie," and "Hot Dog," from their hit album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water.

Note: C'mon, man. This is satire.
