" Just how completely Eddie Chamberlain '36 yielded to Dartmouth's charms can be seen from the central fact about his career at the College it has filled his entire working life. He joined the administration as soon as he graduated (still aglow with the pride of having been a member of the team that beat Yale at football for the first time ever), and nearly half a century later he was among the first to benefit from the legislation raising the mandatory retirement age from 65 to 70.
