MHA amends J-K Reorganization Act, boosts LG's powers

The Ministry of Home Affairs has amended the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, enhancing the powers of the Lieutenant Governor. The President has approved the amendments, which will come into force on July 12. The changes are related to various government procedures in the Union Territory.
