Mercer Motorsports is Ready for its Peterborough Speedway Return
Like many other racers, the No. 81 Mercer Motorsports team was sidelined when poor weather washed-out the Saturday, June 22nd and June 29th dates at Peterborough Speedway.
Port Hope, Ontario’s Jacob Mercer and his team have been working hard behind the scenes to get their equipment ready for the next night of action, when Pure Country 105 presents the Mid Season Bash – Saturday, July 13th – at the popular oval on Mount Pleasant Road. In addition to the regularly scheduled Late Model feature event, the 18-year-old 3rd generation racer will also run the headliner that was postponed when showers forced the Saturday, June 8th program to be shortened.
“It’ll be a long night, but we’re up for the challenge that comes with running some extra laps,” the driver said. “Our team is always ready to roll from the moment we leave shop until we push the car back into the hauler at the end of the night. I’ll put our group’s performance up against anyone else in the business. With the support of our crew and the team of marketing partners, we’re always happy to get to the track and put on a show for the fans.”

After recording a 12th place finish in the driver’s first career start at Sunset Speedway, this weekend’s Saturday, July 13th line-up begins a stretch of 3 straight weekends of racing for the KOD Disposal Late Model division at Peterborough Speedway.
