Erin Burnett 'demanding multimillion dollar buyout from CNN to give up her prime time show for a morning slot'

The cable anchor is said to be demanding a hefty pay raise if the network's new CEO, Jeff Zucker, moves her from her prime time slot at 7pm to the co-host CNN's revamped morning show with Chris Cuomo. Sources told the New York Post that Ms Burnett's $2.5 million contract with CNN includes a clause requiring her show to air in prime time and the cable network would need to offer her an attractive buyout to get her to budge.
