‘He deserves better’ rage Love Island fans as they hit out at villa star and say she’s there for a free holiday
LOVE Island fans did not hold back as they took to social media after the latest recoupling, as one of the couples did not go down well with viewers.
Viewers took to social media to vent after seeing Grace Jackson choose to couple up with footballer Reuben Collins in the Love Island villa.
However the model made a speech that appeared to dismiss Reuben and make it clear their connection wasn’t real, which did not sit well with viewers.
In her speech Grace explained: “He has definitely lifted my spirits, which I feel like I really needed.
“You know it is really early days, I don’t want to rush into anything and I just want to take everything as it comes.
She added: “”I’m still very open to getting to know other people, and I would want him to feel the same.
“But yeah, I’m excited to see where it goes.”
After choosing Reuben, the couple shared an awkward hug before sitting down around the fire pit with the rest of the Love Island couples.
Immediately after viewers took to social media, as one wrote on Twitter and raged: “This Grace recoupling speech to Reuben breaks my heart. Reuben deserves better.”
Another shared: “grace is just there to vacation i fear cuz what was that speech.”
“Grace is clearly using Reuben as a placeholder and she should have gone home a long time ago,” stated another.
Another wrote: “Grace is only sticking with reuben because josh has gone more seriously for mimii.”
“Grace wanted Reuben to know she’s still open to Josh,” shared another.
Others pointed out that she still might have feelings for Joey Essex, as one viewer posted: “She is not into Reuben Grace is only into Grace. She wants to stay in the villa to keep an eye on Joey.”
The recoupling in the villa saw others choose their partners with Matilda and Sam, Ciaron and Nicole, Jessy and Joey, Lolly and Konnor, Josh and Mimii and Ayo and Jessica.
