GOP strategist slams Biden 'frenzy' and vows to make Trump's life 'living, constant hell'

A Republican strategist said his group will "hold the line" to ensure former President Donald Trump doesn't win a second term and slammed the media and Democratic Biden defectors.

Rick Wilson, co-founder of the anti-MAGA group the Lincoln Project, shared on the group's podcast Friday that Biden knows "more about foreign policy, more about domestic policy, more about how to be president than Donald Trump has ever exhibited in a single moment of the four crapuluous years in which he held the Oval Office."

"And certainly," Wilson added, "more than the shark batteries and Hannibal Lecter discussions, and all the other crazy bulls--- that is Donald Trump has expressed at any point since he lost the presidency in 2020."

Wilson said that even as Democrats openly question who ought to be at the top of the ticket, his group will unleash "hell" on Trump in the coming months to ensure he loses Nov. 5.

"We will attack him. We will diminish him. We will demean him. We will get inside his head. We will steal voters from him. We will make Donald Trump's life a living, constant hell. That is what we do. That is what we specialize in," said Wilson.

No group, he boasted, has "held the line" like the Lincoln Project has against Trump, who he characterized as having a "feral sense of animal cunning."

Wilson slammed the media and argued they're more focused on being "right" about Joe Biden being old. Wilson defended Biden and said he made reporters "sad" by putting on a solid performance at the NATO news conference, in which he didn't use a teleprompter, took questions and didn't rely on backup notes.

He gave his Democratic friends a bit of free advice: "If you are not waking up every minute of your day, if you don't spring out of bed and go how is it I can best kick the s--- out of Donald Trump, you're not doing politics right.

"If you wake up every day and don't say to yourself how is it I can make the case that Donald Trump spells the end of the American experiment, the end of democracy we love, the end of the country that has made every freedom you enjoy possible, you are not getting it."

Wilson slammed major media outlets and reporters for creating a "frenzy" and "trying to make their bones right now" with anti-Biden reporting. He even asserted the New York Times has a vendetta against the president for refusing to do a sit-down interview.

"Look, I get it. If you're young and ambitious in DC and you want a connection suddenly to Peter Baker or Maggie Haberman or Jonathan Martin or whomever ... by God you're going to try to be valuable, you're going to try to be useful, you're going to try to produce a story that's sexy and big and clicky.
