New Love Island romance ‘revealed’ as two former show stars get cosy on night out
IT LOOKS like there could be a new Love Island romance on the cards.
To past Islanders, who appeared in different series’ of the ITV2 dating show, have been spotted getting cosy
Sammy Root, who won last year’s summer series with now ex-girlfriend Jess Harding, was seen getting close to this year’s Islander Samantha Kenny.
The pair are both enjoying the perks of being ex-Islanders and were out at a showbiz bash in London.
It didn’t take the pair long to start chatting to each other at the star-studded White Fox bash in the capital last night.
An onlooker saw Samantha and Sammy leaning into each other as they talked intently.
Sammy also had his arm wrapped around the Liverpool lass’ waist.
The two were inseparable and looked like they only had eyes for each other.
Meanwhile, Sammy recently has hinted at ‘doing an Adam Collard’ and making a shock return to the villa.
Sammy and ex-girlfriend Jess Harding won over the hearts of the nation with their journey on the show and ended up being crowned winners.
Just three months after Love Island the pair went their separate ways.
Sammy has now hinted it could be the perfect time to head back to the villa in Mallorca.
Speaking to The Sun about a possible return, Sammy said: “I’m getting a lot of FOMO, I’d love to be in there.
“I am very much single at the minute as well.
“I mean, Love Island was the the best experience of my life…
“So I’d never say never say never, but yeah, it’s one of those things.”
It’s not the first time a previous Islander has made a second apperance.
Adam Collard, who shot to fame on the show in 2018, returned in 2022.
Kady McDermott, who was on the second series of the ITV2 show in 2016, made a shock appearance last year.
Sammy won the show last year with his former girlfriend Jess Harding.
Just three months after the show, they announced their split, leaving fans devastated.
Jess has since moved on with someone else and recently revealed the first picture of his face.
Meanwhile, recently Sammy sparked a romance with ANOTHER Love Island star.
Abi Moores, who was involved in a lot of drama with Messy Mitch, posted a fire flame emoji on a recent holiday post.
Abi revealed she was dating a fellow Love Islander one month later – but insisted he wasn’t from her series.
She said: “I’ve had a few ex-Islanders slide into my DMs – I have been speaking to someone recently from Love Island.
“But I don’t want to give too much away because I feel like every time I talk about it, it ends.
“I’m just going to keep it in for now.”
