Rescue teams in Palestine have reported that following the Israeli forces’ withdrawal from the neighborhoods of Tal al-Hawa and Sabra in Gaza City, at least 60 bodies have been found in these areas.

The Guardian reported on Friday, July 12th, that many people are still trapped under rubble in these areas where it is currently impossible to assist.

Rescue workers in Gaza City stated that these Palestinians were killed during intense clashes between Israeli forces and Hamas over the past week.

According to these rescue workers, a week after the Israeli forces withdrew, numerous homes and roads in the city have been destroyed, and warnings have been issued to residents of these areas about returning to their homes.

Meanwhile, global efforts continue to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and secure the release of hostages.

However, UN Secretary-General António Guterres stated in his latest remarks that nothing can justify the collective punishment that Palestinians face daily.

Reports indicate that since the beginning of Israeli attacks on Gaza, over 38,000 people have been killed and millions more displaced. The humanitarian situation remains critical as efforts to alleviate suffering and rebuild infrastructure continue amidst ongoing conflict.
