I went on my first-ever ‘jumble trail’ – I ended up in someone’s lounge & found insane bits like a Burberry top for 50p
A SAVVY bargain hunter has revealed how she managed to pick up some “insane” buys on her first-ever ‘jumble trail’.
Becky regularly shares pictures and videos of her car boot finds and charity shop buys on her social media pages.
And in a recent video, she revealed she’d headed to a local village’s jumble event – which she’d seen advertised on Facebook – to see what deals she could snap up.
“Have you ever been on a jumble trail?” Becky began.
“They basically post a route of houses which have little stalls outside so you can just follow the route and do some shopping.”
While the majority of the stalls were out the front of people’s houses, some were inside – with Becky even ending up in someone’s living room at one point.
But when she was in there, she found a gorgeous DKNY dress for £2.
Becky also found some Levi’s jeans for £5, and a vintage Billabong wallet for £1 on other stalls.
There were even some “free boxes” of stuff on people’s stalls, while some stall holders even provided fresh lemonade, watermelon slices and barbecues.
“It was such a wholesome day,” she said.
“I actually found so many insane bits and everything was super cheap because I think people just wanted to do a clear out.”
Among her best buys were a Patagonia jacket for £8 and a Burberry top for just 50p.
She also snapped up a mesh top, denim skirt, chain belt and bag for mere pence.
“Can we all just start a petition to have more jumble trails in the UK because they’re honestly insane!” Becky concluded.
“Looks soo much fun!” one person commented on the video.
“It was such a nice afternoon, like a treasure hunt!” Becky replied.
“Omg love this,” another added.
“Wish my area would do this,” a third wrote.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.
Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
