Lazio want an answer from Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood on whether he wants to join them by tonight or Sunday morning.

 

Marseille are the only club who have an agreement with Manchester United to sign Greenwood, but the striker has been spooked by the Marseille mayor’s opposition to the move.

 

Napoli are reportedly close to a €30m deal with the Red Devils but there is still no agreement in place.

 

 

Lazio have tabled a fresh bid worth €25m plus add-ons and a massive sell-on clause, but they want a quick answer from the player about his intentions.

 

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, the Serie A giants have given Greenwood and his camp until Sunday morning to take a call.

 

 

They want assurances from the striker that he wants the move before they proceed to finalise an agreement with Manchester United.

 

Greenwood has asked for time until Monday from Marseille to decide whether he wants the move to France.

 

 

However, Lazio are unwilling to wait until Monday and want a quick resolution to the saga before Sunday morning.
