Hot temperatures continue, tracking next chance for rain

FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Our high temps will continue trend in the 90s for central Ohio. It will be even hotter over the next couple of day. A very significant drop in temperatures is right around the corner the middle of next week. Until then, stay safe in the heat.

Today skies will start of mostly clear, but more clouds will build up later in the afternoon. A couple up quick pop up sprinkles cannot be entirely ruled out. Highs will be in the low 90s with a heat index in the mid 90s.

Tonight skies stay partly cloudy. Generally speaking conditions will be very quiet. Lows will be a bit warm, with temperatures falling near the 70 degree mark. Winds will be very light.

Sunday brings even warmer temperatures, more humidity, and the chances for scattered thunderstorms. Highs across central Ohio will inch closer to the mid 90s. With the higher humidity it will feel more like the upper 90s.

A line of showers and thunderstorms will form and push their way towards central Ohio by Sunday afternoon. At the moment no severe weather is forecasted. More chances for pop up showers and storms will stick around until the middle of the week. By Wednesday we'll return to highs in the low 80s.
