Three headers earn Bay third victory

ANOTHER good pre-season run out for the Seagulls saw them beat North West Counties side AFC Liverpool 3-0 at the 4 Crosses Arena.

That makes its three wins and a draw in their last four pre-season games, with three clean sheets, which will delight management duo Mike Wilde and Danny Harrison.

All three goals against the Merseysiders were headers with skipper Sam Hart getting the first on 37 minutes.

Rhys Nash added a second early in the second half before Sol Forde got the third late on from a corner.

The Seagulls’ next game is at home to Northern Premier League opposition Runcorn Linnets on Tuesday (July 16, 8pm kick-off).
