Wandsworth ‘sex tape’ guard hits out at scammers cashing in on her fame

A prison guard accused with having sex with an inmate in a jail cell has spoken out to criticise the ‘incredibly distasteful’ scammers trying to cash in on her fame.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, says fake OnlyFans pages have been set up to con people.
The former officer was charged with misconduct after a video allegedly showing a prison sex session went viral online.
Hitting out at the scammers, she said: ‘There’s been a tremendous amount of fake profiles of me that have been monetising off my misfortune, a scandal that the entire world has somehow managed to be involved in.
‘I have not monetised it one single bit. If you do come across fake profiles of me, please don’t fall for it.’
She added that ‘there’s been a lot of GoFundme pages and OnlyFans accounts that are not me’ trying to make a profit out of ‘the sad scandal that I am said to be involved in’, The Sun reports.
‘It is incredibly distasteful, she added. ‘Please refrain from tagging HMP Wandsworth, there are other jails in the world.’
Abreu, of Fulham, south-west London, is charged with misconduct in a public office.
The charge states that De Sousa Abreu ‘wilfully and without reasonable excuse or justification misconducted yourself in a way which amounted to an abuse of the public’s trust in the office holder by engaging in a sexual act with a prisoner in a prison cell’.
It is alleged to have happened at Wandsworth between June 26 and 28.
The mother was arrested at Heathrow Airport, the court heard, and was due to catch a flight to Madrid having notified the prison of her travel plans.
De Sousa Abreu, who holds a Portuguese passport, was granted conditional bail, and will appear at Isleworth Crown Court on July 29.
