Ralf and Lindsey were based in New York

According to Mail Online, Ralf has now joined exclusive dating app, Raya, and has grown close to actress Shelley Lankovits, who also worked on Death in Paradise as an assistant director.

Whispers that Ralf and Lindsey had parted ways were rife back in April after she ditched her ring and they unfollowed each other on social media.

An insider told the publication that Ralf enjoyed a date with Shelley earlier this week at Frog and Bucket comedy club in Manchester.

The pair were allegedly kissing and “acting like a couple”, according to the report.

The onlooker said: “They were quite tactile together, sharing the odd kiss – it looked like they were more than just mates.

“They were clearly very into each other and didn’t care that people had spotted them. It was all very cosy.”

Shelley has worked in behind the scenes roles on Sky One comedy Brassic, the drama COBRA and Channel 5’s hit All Creatures Great and Small.

Ralf and Lindsey became an item, meanwhile, when he starred in her play, Ugly Lies The Bone, back in 2015.

He even relocated to the US to live with her, with the pair basing themselves in New York.

When he popped the question six years ago, he did it with his grandmother’s ring.

But now it appears the engagement is off and Ralf has truly moved on.

It comes as he also quit his role on Death In Paradise earlier this year.

He had played DI Neville Parker for five years.

Ralf told gutted fans: “My time on Saint Marie has come to an end – what an end!

“New adventures await Neville, and he got to sail away into the sunset with his best friend. Who knows what happens for them next!

“I want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who watched and supported the show when I arrived four and a half years ago.”

His character got a happy farewell, sailing off into the sunset with sidekick DS Florence Cassell.

The BBC later confirmed that actor Don Gilet would replace him for the next series, which will air in 2025.
