UP SHOCKER: 3 Kids Tied To Tree, Beaten, Gagged With Mangoes For Plucking Fruit From Orchard; Disturbing Visuals Emerge

Three boys, aged four to six, were tied to a tree, thrashed, and gagged with mangoes by a gardener who caught them plucking the fruit from his orchard in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Viral Video: A horrifying incident of child abuse has come to the fore from a village in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, where three children aged between four to six, were tortured by a gardener after he caught them plucking mangoes from his orchard.

A video of the incident which has gone viral on social media showed the three kids being tied to a tree and beaten with a wooden stick by the gardener. The gardener, identified as Sudarshan, can also be seen gagging the children by stuffing the stolen mangoes in their muffle in order to muffle their cries.

Notably, the man continues to ruthlessly assault and torture the three children even as onlookers are seen witnessing the assault but none comes forward to rescue them, the video showed.

According to the police, the shocking incident took place in Pipriya Guru Govind Rai village under the Chowk police station limits.  A senior police official said the accused gardener, Sudarshan, has been booked and arrested after disturbing visuals of the incident went viral on social media.

“Three boys aged four to six were caught by Sudarshan while they were plucking mangoes from his orchard. He has been arrested and sent to jail,” said Chowk Police Station in-charge Prashant Kumar Pathak.

Sudarshan has been charged with beating, abusing, and threatening the children, Pathak said, adding that further action in the case is underway.
