In 1945, the family moved to Charleston, Missouri, where Bob, alongwith his siblings Honey and Tom, grew up, attended church and school, and enjoyed being withfamily and many friends.After graduating from Charleston High School, Bob attended William Jewell College inLiberty, Missouri, until he got the mumps and then attended Murray State University in Murray,Kentucky, for one semester.
