Schenectady man sentenced to 6 years in prison for drug conspiracy

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was sentenced for his role in a Capital Region drug conspiracy on Friday. Andrew Deleon, 27, faces 6 years in prison for multiple drug charges.

  • Conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl
  • Distribution of methamphetamine

Deleon admitted with a guilty plea that he received multiple packages that contained controlled substances with the intent to give them to the leader of the drug trafficking organization. He also admitted to distributing methamphetamine for the organization.
