Milestones: Good news about Marin people

Dean’s list: Cally Hafner, of San Rafael, and Liam Monaghan, of Novato, were named to the dean’s list at the University of Hartford for the spring 2024 semester.

Honor society: Julian Huss, of San Anselmo, was one of 104 juniors and seniors inducted into Emerson College’s Gold Key Honor Society on April 3. Juniors in the top 5% of their class and seniors in the top 10% of their class who earn at least 48 credits are eligible.

Recognition: Richard Raya starts as the new chief executive officer of Marin Promise Partnership in mid-August, succeeding founder Ann Mathieson, who announced her retirement earlier this year.

New director: Catherine Hader was named the new director of the Marin Ballet this month. Former director Nancy Rehkopf remains with the company as marketing and development consultant.
