With their wins against Singapore and New Zealand, Argentina clinched the first place in the Opening Round final standings, leaving New Zealand second. They will be playing the Final on Sunday, at 4pm, with a ticket to the Finals 2025 at stake. The third vs fourth match is also defined. Canada and Singapore will face each other tomorrow at 1 pm in an elimination game.

<p>At 4pm, Hong Kong, China (1-3) and New Zealand will close their participation in the Opening Round. The Asians were eliminated yesterday after losing twice against Argentina and Singapore, and will be playing on Sunday against Israel for the fifth place in this group. </p>

<p>In the final game of the Opening Round, Canada (2-2) will face Israel (0-4), which will finish sixth no matter what. For Canada, a win and a combination of results could will given them the chance to finish second in the Opening Round standings. This is the first time Israel and Canada meet in a Men's Softball World Cup. Starting time at 7pm.</p>

<p>Argentina secured a spot in tomorrow's Final with their 15-0 win against Singapore in three innings of play. Lucio Retamar hit a grand slam, Teo Migliavacca homered and Manuel Godoy went 3-for-3 with three runs scored leading the Argentinean 12-hit offence today.</p>

<p>From the circle, Pablo Migliavacca struck out four in three innings of work, giving up one hit and one walk. This his second win in the competition.</p>

<p>With this win, Argentina hold a 4-0 record and secured one of the top two spots in the Opening Round final standings. They will be playing the Final on Sunday, at 4pm, with a ticket to the Finals 2025 at stake.</p>

<p>Singapore will play the third vs fourth matchup tomorrow at 1pm, against Canada. The winner of this game playing the Repechage against the loser of the game between the top two squads.</p>

<p><strong>Top 6th</strong> - A two-run homer but Manuel Godoy off Nick Hayes and an RBI-single by Federico Olheiser extend Argentina's lead to 4-0. Pablo Migliavacca replaces Martín Gonzalez in the circle for Argentina. Gonzalez tossed five innings, with no hits and seven strikeouts against six walks. </p>

<p>After four innings, Argentina's Martin Gonzalez hasn't allowed a hit in the game, and has worked around five walks to keep New Zealand away from scoring. For the Black Sox, Liam Potts was replaced after four innings giving up four hits, one run and a walk. The score is still 1-0 for Argentina</p>
