'An utter savage': UFC fighters react to Donald Trump rally shooting

Former U.S. president Donald Trump was rushed off stage in Butler, Penn. after a shooting attempt while speaking to his supporters at a rally on Saturday.

Trump was swiftly removed from the stage by Secret Service, raising his fist after the noises ended, with what appeared to be blood on his ear and cheek. Butler County District attorney Richard Goldinger told reporters that the shooter dead.

The former president has recently attended a few UFC pay-per-view events as a special guest to UFC CEO Dana White, is a popular political figure among fighters on the promotion’s roster.
