(NEXSTAR) - Former President Donald Trump was rushed off stage during an incident that left him bloody at a rally in Pennsylvania Saturday. Video from the scene shows Mr. Trump reacting mid-speech as a series of gunshot-like noises echo nearby.

Moments after the apparent shooting attempt blood could be seen on the President's ear as he was surrounded by law enforcement as screams erupted from the crowd in attendance. He then defiantly pumped his fist in the air as security quickly whisked him offstage.
Trump's team quickly released a statement saying the 45th president was "fine" after the incident in Butler, which is northeast of Pittsburgh.
