Apparent shooter at Trump rally, one attendee dead: Reports

An apparent shooter at a rally held by former President Trump as well as at least one attendee have died after apparent shots rang out at the former president’s event in Pennsylvania on Saturday, multiple outlets reported. 

The Butler County District Attorney confirmed the death to The Associated Press and ABC News as well as others. The Hill has reached out to the district attorney's office for confirmation.

Secret Service agents rushed Trump off stage after sounds that resembled gunshots were heard shortly after his rally began. He was escorted away by agents who surrounded his entire body while leading him off the outdoor stage. He was seen with blood above his right ear and was pumping his fists toward the crowd as he was being led to his SUV.

CNN reported that the district attorney said a second person in attendance at the rally was injured and is in serious condition.
