Donna Kelce to Star in 'Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story' During Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

Travis Kelce isn’t the only member of the Kelce family with Hollywood ambitions! His mom Donna Kelce is the latest to sign on for an exciting acting project.

The mom of NFL stars Travis and Jason signed on to appear in Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story on the Hallmark Channel later this year.

The network revealed that Donna was joining the cast of the movie, which is part of the annual Countdown to Christmas celebrations.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story also stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. They linked up with Donna to share the news on the Hallmark Channel’s Instagram account on Saturday (July 14).

“Please welcome America’s football mom [Donna Kelce] to the cast,” they wrote in the caption.

The movie will premiere later this year and is filming on location in Kansas City, Missouri.

Here’s the synopsis: In Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, Alana Higman (King) is sure that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfathers (Begley) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.

Hunter and Tyler joined the project earlier this summer. It marks an official partnership between Hallmark Channel and the NFL.

The costars wore Chiefs colors while attending the 2024 ESPYs to promote the movie.
