Bizarre! Watch UP Groom Thrashes Bride’s Family Over No Fish On Wedding Reception

Groom Thrashed Bride’s Family: While the world watches billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani’s grand wedding with Radhika Merchant, another wedding ceremony has caught the attention of many. A bizarre incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh where the groom and his relatives thrashed the bride’s side over the absence of fish at the wedding reception. The incident took place on July 11 when the groom, identified as Abhishek Sharma, arrived with the baraat at Deoria’s Anand Nagar village to tie the knot with Sushama.

After the performing all the marriage rituals and exchanging Vermalas, groom, identified a Abhishek Sharma, asked about the wedding reception food menu to which the bride responded that simple food was made for the baraatis.

“At this, the groom said, “Why isn’t there fish?” and slapped the girl. They (the groom’s side) also slapped me and my husband. 10 people from the groom’s side thrashed us and injured our family members,” said the bride’s mother, Meera Sharma.
A video of the incident, that has went viral on the internet, featured wedding guests throwing punches and kicks at each other indiscriminately as the two families argued. At least six people sustained injuries in the wedding clash.

Police reached the spot and controlled the situation.

The chief officer of Baghauchghat Police Station in Deoria communicated to the media that legal action is underway against Abhishek Sharma, Surendra Sharma, Rampravesh Sharma, Rajkumar, in addition to a number of unknown culprits. This action is rooted in a complaint by the bride’s father and is being processed in accordance with the law.
