Inside Love Island’s boob job curse – from uneven chest to ‘nightmare’ surgery
LOVE Islanders are famously nipped and tucked to perfection.
Many enter the villa following a dramatic transformation but others have been known to go under the knife after they’ve made it big – with the results not always going to plan.
Gabby Allen
Gabby Allen was on series three of the ITV reality show, and revealed in March she had surgery to fix a botched boob job.
Gabby showed the reality of how her breasts looked late last year.
Before surgery, she was a 34B, but she said left the show determined to get a boob job.
She told The Sun: “But I held off for a few years and that was mainly because I felt like I owed it to the itty bitty committee, to not do it.
“She said she felt more confident after the surgery but then her boobs changed.
She said: “It worked. Until it didn’t and my t*ts went wrong and I had to do it all over again.”
She added: “My left boob dropped massively and then my right boob dropped as well, but it wasn’t as bad as the left one.
“My left boob was literally facing the ceiling.
“So once again, my confidence was knocked. I was like ‘I’ve paid all this money to get them done, and now I’m back to square one’.”
Jessie Wynter
Australian stunner Jessie Wynter found fame on Love Island last year as a bombshell.
Jessie, 27, who was already famous for appearing on the show in Australia, said she regretted having a boob job when she was younger that went wrong.
She said: It was one of those nightmare ones that didn’t go to plan. I hope people don’t call me fake and they can see past it.
“I honestly wish I could go back and tell younger me, ‘Dude, don’t get a boob job, you’re fine the way you are.’ They kind of shoved [the implants] in, didn’t structure it or anything and they were just really, really far apart.
“And they pretty much fell into my armpits.”
Megan Barton Hanson
Megan Barton Hanson, 30, had corrective breast surgery after weight loss left her implants uneven.
Megan – who was on series four of Love Island – said she wanted to be “honest and open” about it, adding there is “no shame in surgery” if you’ve researched a good trusted surgeon, are aware of the risks and it “makes you happy”.
A few months later, at the beginning of 2022, Megan – who has reportedly spent over £40,000 on surgery since the age of 17 – insisted she was done with going under the knife.
She added: “I restarted therapy and can confidently say I’m in the best, most content place I’ve ever been – mentally and physically.
“Because of this, my old, bigger breast implants no longer sat right on my chest, so I decided to go for a different style and shape.”
Anna Vakili
The Love Island star told The Sun that she had her first breast enlargement over 10 years ago.
She said in 2022: “I got my boobs done in 2013, going from a B-cup to an E, but they became really heavy.
“So last year I had to get them lifted. And now I think my nipples are too high so I’m seriously thinking about changing that.”
The star later revealed she had other surgery that went horrible wrong.
Speaking about her Brazilian Butt Lift, she said on her Sisters In The City podcast: “We went abroad to Turkey and me and Mandi thought we were going to die abroad. It was very scary.
“After our surgery, within a day or two, we were in a hotel room about to faint with blood all over the hotel room. It was like a murder scene, we both collapsed in the hotel room. Bandaged up, bleeding… it was like a horror movie.”
Olivia Attwood Dack
Olivia Attwood was 20 when she had her first boob job.
She told The Times: “I was happy for a year, then I realised they didn’t look right for my frame.
“The weight of the implants started to stretch my skin and they got lower and lower.
“I started to think, ‘This isn’t what I signed up for at all’.”
She has told fans to be sensible and “do not do ‘the most’ to get your money’s worth”.
Paige Thorne
Paige Thorne has also admitted she hates her fake boobs.
The paramedic, 26, had a boob job before entering the ITV show, but now questions why she ever went under the knife
She said: “Do you know what I do hate though? Fake boobs.
“Why did I get fake boobs at such a young age.
“I wasn’t allowed to make that decision, I regret my decision.”
Paige added a disclaimer in the description of the clip which read: “I only hate the fake boobs on myself, not anyone else before all my Karens start coming for me.”
