Woman shows how she transformed her bathroom in seconds with a single piece of furniture & made it smell amazing too

A WOMAN has been praised after showing how she transformed her bathroom in seconds with just one piece of furniture.

Vicky wanted some extra storage in the room, and was also keen to add a stylish touch.

And she managed to do that in seconds, thanks to a Von Haus cabinet she picked up from the furniture superstore.

Vicky took to TikTok to show how she put the £59.99 cabinet in place – the Chester Under Sink Basin Unit.

While it’s open at the back, that opening isn’t visible when it’s in place, as the pedestal part of the sink goes in there.

Once it’s in position, there are two large shelves available for storage.

Vicky revealed she gets “so many messages daily” asking where she got the cabinet from, so decided to address it in the TikTok video.

She added in the caption that it was out of stock until later this month.

However, since Vicky posted the video, the cabinet has actually come back into stock.

She also showed how she used the cabinet to make her bathroom smell amazing, as she packed it full of Flash and Febreze products in the new Rio Carnival fragrance.

And people in the comments section were quick to praise Vicky for the clever transformation.

“This is a great option for those who rent or just simply cannot afford a bathroom remodel,” one wrote.

“Perfect!! I hate pedestal sinks,” another added.

“I need this,” a third commented.

“Wow that’s super cute!” someone else insisted.

“Love this idea!” another wrote.

And the positive reviews kept on coming on the Von Haus website, with one writing: “I love this unit!

“It was so easy to put together. It looks great in my bathroom.”

“I am really pleased with this unit,” another added.

“I found it easy to put together and the finished result is lovely and ideal for my small bathroom.”

“I really love this little cupboard,” someone else said.

Four cheap home renovation tricks

YOU don't have to spend loads to give a room a new look. Here are five other home renovation tricks you can try.

Kitchen cupboards

One way to give your kitchen a complete transformation for less is to change the look of the kitchen cupboards. There are loads of different vinyl coverings out there to choose from, and it’s a quick and easy way to update your home.

Handles

Another thing you can try that won’t break the bank is to change up the handles. You can pick up relatively cheap handles in DIY stores, or even in the charity shop. Adding new ones to your kitchen cupboards, or doors in your house, can be extremely effective.

Leftovers

Most of us have old half-used tins of paint in the garage, but they’re often forgotten about. However, there may be enough in the pot to paint a feature wall in another room, and you won’t have to spend a penny.

Freebies

It’s worth checking your local Facebook Marketplace, or Freecycle, to see what other people are getting rid of. As they say, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. And if someone’s planning to revamp a room, they might want to get rid of a sofa, or a coffee table, which you could use to give a lounge a new look.

“It’s really elevated my bathroom visually, and the storage is excellent.”

But others were less convinced by the cabinet addition.

“This looks a mess,” one wrote.

“Don’t like the look of…,” another added.

As a third spat that it was “1980s catalogue stuff”.
