Two shootings in Birmingham kill 7 people including young child, Alabama police say

Four fatalities occurred in a Birmingham nightclub shooting at 3400 Block of 27th Street North. An earlier incident on Indian Summer Drive killed three, including a child. Officer Truman Fitzgerald reported. One man died at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital; nine others treated. Suspect fired from street. Birmingham Fire and Rescue were involved.
