Suspects wanted for stealing trash bag full of Cold Brew Coffee in Franklinton

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Police are searching for two men who are accused of stealing a trash bag filled with bottles of cold coffee at a west Columbus convenience store.

According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, two suspects are wanted for aggravated robbery, which took place on Wednesday at 11:40 p.m. in the Franklinton neighborhood.

Police said one suspect entered the United Dairy Farmers store near West Broad Street and Dakota Avenue. The man began filling a trash bag with Cold Brew Coffee, then attempted to exit the store. Store clerks reportedly attempted to stop the suspect and a fight ensued.

An incident report stated a second suspect entered the store while brandishing a gun. Both suspects then fled the scene, but not before their images, and that of the car they were seen leaving in, were captured on video surveillance.
