‘I didn’t even recognise you’ say Love Island fans as show hunk is unrecognisable with new curtain haircut
One previous Love Islander has been setting social media alight with his latest transformation.
Step forward Brad McCelland, who has offered fans of the hunk a post-Island holiday glow-up they’ve all been waiting for.
The 29-year-old Labourer, who hails from Northumberland, rose to fame as an Islander in season 7, entering the villa on Day 1, and being dumped from the island on Day 16.
And while fans at the time certainly took a shine to the star, it seems as though it’s his most recent new look that has caused a social media stir.
Taking to his Instagram page to post his ‘unrecognisable’ new style, the Love Island star posed in a video that revealed his honed physique alongside his new curtain-style haircut.
A nod to the 90s, the iconic ‘curtain’ haircut (where the hair is left longer on top and styled with a middle parting to create the appearance of curtains) has truly stood the test of time.
Favoured by celebrities including Backstreet Boys, Beckham, Peter Andrew and Liam Hemsworth over the years, Brad’s longer look sent his 473k followers wild, with many claiming his ‘hair-volution’ had led to them ‘no longer recognising him.’
The video, which starts with him in his underwear, is a GRWM (get ready with me) that shows the Love Islander putting on his trousers, before adding a white tank, a grey shirt and trainers, and a watch as his final accessory.
He captioned the post: “It’s a holiday fit that’s fit for any occasion.”
And while he tagged the brands he was wearing in his post, it was his hair that received the most attention.
Many commented on how his longer locks had completely transformed him.
One said: “Omg I didn’t even recognise you. Loving the hair,” while another said: “Oh my god I just clicked who you are – you glowed up!”
Another admirer said: “Zac Efron vibes at the start there,” while one likened him to Damon in Vampire’s Diary.
