Jacoby Jones dead at 40: Former NFL star who made Super Bowl history with the Baltimore Ravens tragically passes away
JACOBY JONES has died at the age of 40.
The former wide receiver’s passing was confirmed by an official source.

He played an important role during the team’s Super Bowl 47 victory over the 49ers in 2013.
He broke multiple Super Bowl records during his career.
He made the longest kickoff return in a Super Bowl of 108 yards, as well as the longest play.
He also made the most all-purpose yards in a Super Bowl with 288.
Tributes have flooded in for Jones on social media.
JJ Watt wrote: “Jacoby was one of the most fun-loving teammates and people I’ve ever been around.
“Always dancing and laughing, with a permanent smile on his face. Gone far, far too soon. R.I.P Jacoby Jones.”
One fan posted: “Jacoby Jones was an absolute legend. He was beloved by literally everybody he met and lit up every room/field he walked into/onto.
“Rest easy my brother, we will miss your presence.”

He started his career at the Houston Texans before joining Baltimore in 2012.
After leaving the Ravens in 2014, he had stints at the San Diego Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Monterrey Steel.
He retired from playing in 2017 after signing a one-day contract with the Ravens so he could end his career as a player of the team.
After retiring, he turned his hand to coaching and worked as a wide receiver coach at Lane College, Calvert Hall College, Morgan State and Alabama State.
In 2013 he featured on Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars and was partnered by Karina Smirnoff.
He managed to reach the final of the competition but finished third behind country music singer Kellie Pickler and actress Zendaya.
