Katie Price steps up security with new guard dog after acid attack on car – despite pet death petition
ONLYFANS star Katie Price has revealed she is stepping up security as she gets a new guard dog after her car was attacked with acid.
Mum of five Katie has revealed that she isn’t taking safety and security lightly as she added that not only has she downsized from Mucky Mansion to ‘somewhere nobody knows’ but she’ll be adding a fierce guard dog to her home too.
The former Page 3 star revealed in an interview to Daily Mail as she said: “I’ve got a guard dog coming on Monday.”
The new four legged addition to the household comes after Katie discovered her car had been attacked with acid, and that she’d failed to have much support from the police.
She said in the interview: “I called the police, I said, ‘I know you’re saying there’s nothing you can do, but if I’d walked out in the middle of the night and I saw them putting acid on [the car], who’s to say they wouldn’t have thrown it at me?’
“That’s the way I look at it. It’s a threat.”
However Katie’s new plans for a new dog might incur some backlash, as earlier this year she was the subject of an online petition following a campaign to see her banned from owning animals.
The Change petition has gathered much support online as it brands Pricey as ‘irresponsible’ and was started in 2020 after the death of her puppy.
The puppy wasn’t the only animal death Katie has suffered, as she’s also had several dogs that have died, she’s lost a horse to road traffic and a depressed chameleon named Marvin to a broken heart.
Yet the call for a new guard dog comes as the glamour model looks to tighten her security in her new home, after leaving her ‘cursed’ Mucky Mansion behind.
Her new house’s location remains undisclosed as she revealed ‘she loves it’ that nobody can find it.
The interview comments come as Katie’s latest memoir, This Is Me, is set to be released and deliver some of her most honest comments yet.
In her interview she also revealed how she would love to add to her family, and potentially even have ‘three more’ children to add to her five offspring.
The star is now loved up with partner JJ Chalmers, who starred on Married At First Sight, although it’s not clear if she has already talked about having children with her new beau.
In the past she’s been married three times, including to singer Peter Andre, cagefighter Alex Reid and dancer Kieran Hayler.
Katie has also seen good news as earlier this month she revealed that she had landed a new TV programme with Channel 4.
She exclusively opened up about her new TV project with The Sun on the red carpet for the launch of Channel 4‘s coverage of the Paralympic Games.
She teased that filming on the as-yet-untitled project is lined up for November in order for the programme to air this Christmas.
Katie told us: “Channel 4 are actually doing a brand new thing for Christmas.
“We’re filming that in November, which I’m going to love.”
Remaining coy on further details, Katie insisted “it would be all magical, it’s all going to be good.”
The former glamour model hinted that it wasn’t the only project being discussed with the broadcaster as she said: “It’s so funny because I’m doing so many shows for Channel 4 at the moment.
“I can’t keep up with it myself, but it’s all good.”
