ENGLAND had been handed a massive boost in the Euro 2024 final as Rodri has been subbed off.

The Manchester City star was replaced by Martin Zubimendi by manager Luis de la Fuente.

Zubimendi has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal after impressing at Real Sociedad.

Rodri appeared distraught as he was replaced and was visibly upset about the substitute’s bench.

The Spaniard could be seen holding his hamstring as he made his way off the pitch.

England star Jude Bellingham made sure to comfort the ace as he gave him a pat on the back.

However, Spain stole the initiative just two minutes into the second half as Nico Williams scored the opener.

Yamal Lamine drove down the right-hand side before cutting inside and curled the ball to Williams.

The Athletico Bilbao ace then slotted his effort past Jordan Pickford and into the goal.

Earlier in the match fans hit out at Dani Carvajal as the defender was spotted trying to troll Bukayo Saka.
