Justin Hartley Confirms Jensen Ackles Will Return As His Brother on 'Tracker' Season 2

Jensen Ackles fans will be happy with this news!

As read in the title, the 46-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as Russell Shaw in season two of Tracker, star and executive producer Justin Hartley confirmed over the weekend.

While attending the Tracker panel at CBS’ 2024 TCA Summer Press Tour on Saturday (July 13), Justin shared that Jensen is definitely coming back to the show.

“We got him, he’s coming back,” he said. “We’re having fun with that. It’s a great story.”

Executive producer Elwood Reid also confirmed that Jensen will not just be back for one episode, but “more than one.”

“It’s like family: when we text him [he says], ‘Tell me where and tell me when,’ and he shows up,” Elwood added. “He’s just that kind of guy.”

Melissa Roxburgh, who played Colter’s younger sister Dory in season one, will also be returning in season two, Elwood confirmed to TV Line.

“We’ll unpeel some more stuff with his sister,” he said during the panel.
